The Feijoa, or Pineapple Guava, is a resilient and delicious evergreen shrub that thrives with neglect. This architectural plant features beautiful silvery-green foliage, stunning edible flowers with sweet petals and dramatic red stamens, and egg-shaped fruit with a surprising tropical flavor. The gritty yet creamy flesh tastes like a complex blend of pineapple, strawberry, and guava.
