Chandler Strawberry Plants – High‑Yield June‑Bearers for Pick‑Your‑Own Farms and Home Growers
Chandler Strawberry Plants are a top choice for commercial growers and pick‑your‑own farms thanks to their exceptional yield, firm berries, and outstanding flavor. Originating in California, this semi‑early June‑bearing variety produces a heavy, concentrated crop over a 2–3 week harvest window. Chandler strawberries are ideal for fresh eating, freezing, and farm‑stand sales, offering growers a dependable, high‑performing plant with strong customer appeal.

Key Features:
• High‑yield June‑bearing variety
• Firm, glossy red berries with excellent flavor
• Semi‑early harvest window ideal for commercial picking
• Strong performance in warmer regions
• Excellent for fresh eating, freezing, and farm markets
• Not winter hardy north of the Mid‑Atlantic region

Common Questions:
• What problem does Chandler solve? It provides a heavy, reliable harvest ideal for farms needing consistent yields and berries that hold up well for customers.
• Is Chandler good for pick‑your‑own farms? Yes, it’s one of the most popular PYO varieties due to berry size, firmness, and flavor.
• When does Chandler produce? It delivers a single, abundant June crop over 2–3 weeks.
• Is Chandler winter hardy? It is not recommended for regions north of the Mid‑Atlantic due to limited cold tolerance.
• Can Chandler be grown in containers? Yes, and we offer Chandler plants grown in pots as an alternative option.
• Should first‑year blooms be removed? Yes, removing first‑year blooms helps establish stronger plants for larger future harvests.

Description:
Chandler (Fragaria × ananassa ‘Chandler’) is a semi‑early June‑bearing strawberry known for its high productivity and excellent berry quality. The fruit is firm, glossy, and richly flavored, making it ideal for both fresh use and freezing. Chandler performs best in warmer climates and is widely used by commercial growers for its dependable yields and customer‑preferred berry characteristics. Its concentrated harvest window makes it especially valuable for farms that rely on predictable picking periods.

Planting & Care:
• Soil: Prefers fertile, well‑drained soil
• Sun: Full sun for maximum yield
• Water: Keep evenly moist during establishment and fruiting
• Spacing: Standard strawberry spacing for June‑bearers
• First‑Year Blooms: Remove blooms during the first season to strengthen plant growth
• Runners: Allow up to 3 runners per plant for optimal production

Seasonal Notes:
• Semi‑early June harvest lasting 2–3 weeks
• Best suited for warmer regions; not winter hardy in colder northern zones
• Excellent berry firmness for farm stands and PYO operations

Nice and affordable, but poor arch support and mushy insoles.
Size: 11 Wide, Color: Black
These shoes look nice and feel comfortable at first, but the soft memory foam type bottoms on these don't provide enough support. I am a big guy and find that over the course of the day the insoles compress and my feet end up at an angle. After a long day on my feet, my dogs are barking and my leg muscles are tight I think from walking on an angle. I added my GoodFeet arch support and they help a little with arch support, but the insole is so soft that it absorbs the bulge quite a bit. If you're skinny and need a decent looking pair of shoes on the cheap, they might be ok for you. I would not recommend long walks or strenuous activity in them. I will say they are lightweight, breathable and a decent value if you don't have flat feet and a beer belly (I don't even drink beer, how'd that happen, WTH?!)

Love the shoes.
I love these shows. Super cushioned and comfortable. Makes casual but professional dress so easy. Buying different color because I like them so much. They are true to size. Maybe a tad short in toe box.

Stylish, Comfortable, and Great for Everyday Wear
Size: 11, Color: Grey
The Marc Joseph New York Men’s Edison Street shoes are a standout — stylish enough for work or a night out, but comfortable enough for daily wear. The hands-free technology makes them easy to slip on and off without sacrificing fit or support. They have a polished, classic look that pairs well with both casual and dressier outfits, and the comfort level stayed high even after a full day on my feet. Good quality, flattering design, and a versatile choice if you want shoes that look sharp and feel great. Would recommend and buy again.

Just Slip On & Go
Size: 13, Color: Black/Black
These are honestly one of the easiest shoes I’ve owned. You just step in and go, no laces to deal with, but they still have that lace look which I like. I’ve had them for close to a year and they’ve held up well. Comfortable enough for everyday use. I liked them enough and got a few different versions of the same shoe. The elastic fit is what makes them stand out. If you want something simple, comfortable, and still a little dressy, these are solid.
