The Tillandsia harrisii is a very unique looking air plant, with its silver/grey appearance and abundance of trichomes. This variety of Tillandsia will grow to well over 8 inches high and will display beautiful red and purple blooms.
Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is not a true moss, but rather an epiphytic flowering plant that often grows upon larger trees in tropical and subtropical climates
