Planting / harvesting notes

Sow seeds indoors 8-12 weeks before the last frost and transplant into the garden well after the danger of frost. 1/4" deep. Keep seedlings moist but do not overwater. Transplants should be initially watered in well, and plants will be most productive with regular irrigation and full sun. Harvest when fruits are small and tender, with fewer seeds. This variety is very seedy!

Seed keeping notes

Eggplants are generally self-pollinating, though we isolate different varieties of the same species by at least 300 feet, in hopes that flying insects will not cross pollinate them unexpectedly. Eggplant seeds are ripe when the fruits get far past their edible stage, and have turned another color, in this case a golden yellow. The best indicator, however, is when the stem easily comes off the fruit. Cut the fruit, scrape out seeds (perhaps through a heavy-duty screen) into a vessel, add a little water (1-2" is probably plenty) to your seeds and pulp to keep them from drying out, and allow them to ferment away from direct sunlight. Fermentation is not necessary with eggplants, but it makes seed cleaning a bit easier. Ideally, you will stir the concoction every day for 3-5 days. In the end, add more water to fill the vessel, stir one final time, and allow to settle. Pour off the floating material and then strain the seeds through a strainer. Sometimes, you will need to add more water and pour off the floating material several times until the water is clear and you can see the seeds sunken at the bottom. Squeeze dry the strained seeds in a towel, and then lay out to dry on a labeled screen or paper product in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight for a week or two.

Great addition to my minimalist kitchen!
Color: Black
This kitchen sink sponge holder is simple yet highly effective. It keeps the sponge neatly in place, allows it to dry quickly, and makes the sink area look tidy. The sturdy material and easy-clean design make it a great little addition to any kitchen.

Strong sturdy reliable and versatile
Color: Black
This is a great little side piece to use for your kitchen sink or bathroom mine is in my kitchen sink it works great it sits on the side it's the perfect length holds my scrubber soap and other stuff I need instead of using a makeshift bowl. It's sturdy rust-resistant and I put it through the tests it gets wet every time I do which is every day in this house. You can use it for just about anything. There are no suction cups on it but there is a gray under it that catches all the loose water which is also very convenient. It looks modern and compliments most sinks and kitchens well

Good Quality but Limited Space for Multiple Bottles
Color: Black
This organizer is decent quality, but it ended up being smaller than I expected. For reference, I usually keep the following items at my sink: • Dawn squeeze dish soap • Mrs. Meyers hand soap • Dr. Brown’s bottle soap • A sponge • A bottle brush All of these items fit comfortably in my previous sink caddy that I bought on Amazon. Unfortunately that one eventually started peeling and rusting, which is why I replaced it. With this one, the narrow section on the left side limits how much you can actually store. It works well for the brush, but it reduces the usable space for bottles. Because of that, fitting multiple soap bottles plus a sponge is a little tight. I also think my previous organizer was slightly wider, which made a bigger difference than I realized. One feature I do like is the removable plastic tray on the bottom. It catches water well and keeps the counter from getting messy, which is a nice touch. Overall, it’s usable and I will keep it, but if you normally keep several bottles and tools at your sink like I do, I would recommend paying close attention to the measurements before ordering.

This is a great little caddy. It sits nicely in the small area I have and keeps all my stuff organized. The tray comes out to clean it.

Wonderful size and holds the essentials.
Color: A-silver
I have no room for something bigger because I have a drop in sink. This is working wonderful. There is room for a scrubby, sponge my stove top cleaner and scrapper for stove. The tray below to catch any water is great and very easy to remove and drain. It takes a second to do. Great size as it is not huge but holds what I need.
